Essential digital skills
Computers have changed the way we live and work. They now impact every part of our lives, including paying bills, online shopping and staying in touch with family and friends. Our computing courses are designed to teach you the basics of operating a PC or laptop, help improve your confidence to navigate around the internet and teach you how to use Microsoft Office software. We also offer an online SAGE accountancy course, where an assessment is needed.
Accredited digital skills
This qualification course is suitable for adults aged 19+ wishing to develop practical, transferable skills in ICT to work confidently, independently and effectively in life. They are suitable for a wide range of people and are essential to the successful completion of many other qualifications.
Employers are increasingly asking for qualifications in digital skills to ensure their employees are able to perform the everyday tasks. Some of the courses we offer are:
- NCFE level 1 and level 2 certificate in digital skills for work
- NCFE functional skills qualification in ICT at all levels – from entry level 3 to level 2
IT skills tasters
These online taster sessions will help you learn ways to improve your digital skills including topics such as being safe online, banking and shopping safely, email, Microsoft and more.
